EMIA Express

 

EMIA has created a special year-long project with three schools in Brooklyn, NY; New Haven, CT and Boston, MA. Dance students attending those schools are eligible to participate in EMIA’s summer intensive. During the school-year, EMIA provides a special artist in residence at each school along with teaching assistants. Dancers participating in this program and their teachers are all involved in a continuous process of assessment. This program is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts’ Art Works.
