ASCEN-DANCE invites participants (ages 25 and above) to immerse themselves in a rich schedule of daily technique classes, creative workshops, and reflective professional development sessions. In addition to a variety of class offering a variety of techniques including: Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean, and Improvisation and Body Conditioning/Wellness. Participants will engage in daily Professional Development sessions centered on themes such as Cultivation, Exploration, Collaboration, Growing Together, and Reflection. Evenings will feature unique social gatherings designed to foster community and connection across the cohort. The intensive culminates in a final mainstage performance, joining Ascen-DANCE participants and EMIA’s pre-professional and professional dancers.
