Tethered Residents is presenting a 40 minute series of excerpts from our evening-length production IMAGES, which premiered in February 2026 in NYC, supported by The MAP Grant Fund. This work was made in collaboration with dancers Joan Dwiartanto, Dareon Blowe, Carlos Franquiz, Lesar Stepputat, Kendra Borden, Ashlynn DeGeorge, Bella Donatelli, and Alex Schulman.

Inspired by his experience growing up without a father, Daniel Padierna's Take Care explores feelings of nostalgia, anger, and sadness while finding a path toward healing. Through this deeply personal work, Padierna invites audiences to reflect on resilience, self-care, and the relationships that shape who we become. This work was originally commissioned for Jersey (New) Moved at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in 2019.
